Roller probe (tire probe) dry coupling continuous inspection
Continuous flaw detection realized with light pressing and dry coupling, eliminating the need to apply a couplants.
A vibrator that transmits and receives ultrasonic waves is placed inside the roller, and by lightly pressing it against the test piece, ultrasonic waves can be transmitted to the test piece without couplant or with just a spray of water. Various types of probes, such as transmission method, dual elemet probe, angle beam probe, and array probe, can be manufactured.
